friday, without the spreadsheet
Chris did 22 cuts this week. His number was ready before Friday was.
940 dollars of booked work, a commission rate set once, tips counted as they were tipped. Payday starts from a figure everyone already saw — not from a notebook reconstruction at the till.
the terms
Set each member's pay once.
A commission percentage or a fixed salary, per member. A senior on 45% and a junior on 35% both see numbers built from the same completed work.

the week adds itself
Commission + tips − advances = payday.
Service and retail commission add up with tips; bonuses or deductions apply; any advance already paid out subtracts itself. One number per master, traceable to the visits behind it.

close the period
Close it, pay it, keep the record.
Periods run weekly: open while the work lands, closed when you review, marked paid when the money moves. The record keeps payday honest week after week.
Sending the money itself — automatic bank transfers — is on the roadmap; you settle the way you settle now, with the arithmetic already done.

questions
Before you switch.
- Is commission computed automatically?
- Yes – set a commission percentage per member and payroll builds each weekly pay period from completed work: commission, tips, adjustments and advances in one breakdown.
- Does DaySync send the money?
- Not yet – automatic bank transfers are on the roadmap. Today the split is computed and recorded; you settle it the way you already do, and mark the period paid.
- Can different masters have different terms?
- Yes – each member has their own: one on 45% commission, another on a fixed salary. Different prices per master for the same service are set on the service itself.
- Is payroll part of the free plan?
- No – payroll and payouts are part of Pro, a flat $25 per month or $250 per year, with an unlimited team and no per-seat fee.
